He holds a PhD in image analysis and is an international expert in translational imaging, particularly diffusion MRI. He has extensive experience integrating data across clinical and research contexts, building a strong reputation in Swiss hospital data-sharing initiatives and advancing trans-European collaborations.
Tomaž Gornik is the CEO and founder of Better and a co-chair of openEHR International. He is an experienced manager of teams building world-class software products for more than 30 years and has a proven track record of delivering innovative turn-key solutions for large clients in healthcare, telecommunications, and finance. He is always challenging teams to build better software using state-of-the-art technology, architectures, and processes, and has a good understanding of software platforms, architecture, deployment, and business models.
