Dr Amanda Herbrand
Clinical Data Specialist, Universitätsspital Basel
A Clinical Data Specialist at the University Hospital Basel with a background in physics and medicine, Amanda focuses on clinical data modeling with openEHR. As a former oncologist, she combines her expertise in data-driven healthcare and clinical workflows to advance interoperability and sustainability in hospital systems, aiming to build a data-driven hospital environment.

Bram Stieltjes
Head of Research and Analytic Services at the Department of Radiology, Universitätsspital Basel
A medical doctor by training, Bram Stieltjes currently heads the Personalised Health department at Universitätsspital Basel. He holds a PhD in image analysis and is an international expert in translational imaging, particularly diffusion MRI. He has extensive experience integrating data across clinical and research contexts, building a strong reputation in Swiss hospital data-sharing initiatives and advancing trans-European collaborations.

Tomaž Gornik
Chief Executive Officer, Better
Tomaž Gornik is the CEO and founder of Better and a co-chair of openEHR International. He is an experienced manager of teams building world-class software products for more than 30 years and has a proven track record of delivering innovative turn-key solutions for large clients in healthcare, telecommunications, and finance. He is always challenging teams to build better software using state-of-the-art technology, architectures, and processes, and has a good understanding of software platforms, architecture, deployment, and business models.
